Dogs love getting dirty. While baths rarely rank highly on a dog’s list of fun things to do, cleanliness definitely enhances the human-dog living experience. At Shamrock Ranch, we aim to make the grooming experience a positive one for both you and your dog.

Please note that we’re currently not offering haircuts for dogs. If we begin offering haircuts again, then we’ll update this page accordingly.

Our basic bath includes a good scrub, a brush-out and/or blowout to alleviate shedding (for a while, at least), an ear cleaning and a nail trim. You’ll see, smell and feel the difference after your dog gets a professional bath.

Unlike our other services, prices for baths vary based on breed, coat condition and other factors. Generally, bigger dogs and longer coats mean higher prices as far as baths go.

As an example, the $45 starting price would generally apply to an easygoing short-haired Chihuahua, while a more difficult short-haired Chihuahua might cost a bit more.

De-matting costs start at $15 for every 15 minutes of service and may increase according to the length of time required for de-matting. For one or two simple mats, we may not charge anything beyond the cost of the base bath cost. Brush-outs also cost $15 per 15-minute period.

Requirements

We can generally accommodate dogs of most breeds and temperaments for grooming services. We may, however, cease or refuse service to dogs who exhibit excess levels of stress and/or present more-than-reasonable levels of danger to themselves or our staff.

We require current Rabies vaccination records for all grooming services.

  • Your first and last name

  • Your dog’s name

  • Which grooming service(s) your dog needs

  • Which day(s) of the week you’d like an appointment for

  • What time of day you’d prefer an appointment for

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I tip the grooming staff?

Yes, you can tip the grooming staff, though we can’t add tips to credit transactions. If you’d like to tip the grooming staff, then you must do so via cash or check.

Can I watch?

For safety reasons, we generally can’t allow customers to enter areas intended only for employees, and this includes the groom room. Furthermore, most dogs exhibit more anxiety during grooming services with their owners present. As such, we don’t allow customers to spectate during the grooming process.
